From Newcastle International Airport (NCL):
Distance to the City Apartments Newcastle City is 7 miles, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The metro connects the airport with the centre of Newcastle and guests should alight at Monument for the City Apartments. Trains depart every seven minutes and the fare is 2 GBP for a single journey. Taxis are available outside the terminal, and cost about 20 GBP to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. An efficient and inexpensive metro system serves Newcastle, North and South Tyneside, Gateshead, and Sunderland. Bus services operate within the city centre, and ferries run every 30 minutes to North and South Shields.
Driving directions.From the airport at roundabout take the second exit onto the A696 (for A696 The South, Newcastle).
Continue forward onto the A696 and enter Newcastle Upon Tyne.
At the roundabout take the third exit onto Ponteland Road (A167) for City Centre.
At Kenton Bar Roundabout take the second exit onto Ponteland Road (A167) for Newcastle City Centre.
At Harehills Roundabout take the second exit onto Ponteland Road (A167).
At Springfield Roundabout take the third exit onto Ponteland Road (A167).
At Ponteland Road roundabout take the first exit onto the A167.
Branch left, then turn right onto the B1318 (for City Centre North).
At roundabout take the second exit onto Claremont Road (B1318).
Turn right onto Barras Bridge (B1307).
Turn left and park in Dobson Street NCP.
