Frequent train services operate between the airport and Manchester Piccadilly Station, which is 0.5 miles from the hotel. Taxis are also available outside the arrivals hall of each terminal. Parts of Manchester city centre are pedestrianised and there is a good bus and tram network covering the city.
Driving directions: From the airport, join the M56 and then the A5103 towards Manchester. At the roundabout take the A57M towards Sheffield. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto the flyover and take the exit marked UMIST, following the right hand fork in the road. Days Hotel Manchester City is on the left.
