The Gala Placidia hotel is a modern eight floor hotel situated in the New Town of Benidorm, 200 metres from Rincon de Loix area with shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The 137 air conditioned guestrooms have simple modern decor with light wood furnishings. All guestrooms open on to balconies and include satellite television and telephones.
Guests can relax on a sun bed by the outdoor pool, while children splash in the kids' pool. The hotel features extensive leisure facilities, including a bowling alley, table tennis table and video games machines. Guests can also put their feet up in front of the television in the lounge area, before spending the evening enjoying live entertainment. A range of water sports, including jet skiing, scuba diving and waterskiing are on offer on the golden sands of Levante beach, 500 metres away, and families can enjoy a day's excursion to the nearby theme park, Terra Mitica, five kilometres away. Alicante Airport is 50 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.

Taxis are available at the airport. Scheduled buses also run every 30 minutes to and from Alicante central bus station.
Driving directions: From Alicante Airport take N 332. Turn right for the E 15/A 7 towards Valencia, Alcoi. Take the E 15/AP 7, passing close to Villajoyosa. Take the exit towards Exit 65. Take Avinguda De La Comunitat Europea towards Benidorm. Turn right for N 332. Turn right for CV 70. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and continue along the CV 766. Arrive in Benidorm.
