Location. Villa Delle Palme is located in Acitrezza, on the island of Sicily, Italy, 500 metres from the town centre and two kilometres from the medieval town Aci Castello. The city of Catania is six kilometres away, and Mount Etna is 25 kilometres from the villa.
Hotel Features. This intimate two storey stone villa is set amongst pine trees and citrus groves in a quiet location on the outskirts of Acitrezza. There is a 24 hour front desk where staff can provide tour assistance, and complimentary wireless Internet access is offered in public areas. Secure parking is available on site.
The Villa's outdoor swimming pool is situated in the sheltered garden, framed with terracotta stone tiles and surrounded by sun loungers. There is also the option of shiatsu massage, and other activities include table tennis.
Apartments. The 10 air conditioned suites have simple decor and terracotta tiled floors. Outdoor patios provide views over the coast or the surrounding countryside. All have kitchens with refrigerators and microwave, and separate sitting areas. Amenties include satellite television, complimentary Internet connections, sofabeds, desks, safes, and minibars.
Expert Tip. It is well known that Mount Etna is Europe's largest active volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. A tour of the park to explore the natural phenomenon, three times the size of Vesuvius, is recommended.

Distance to Villa Delle Palme is 16 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Public transport to Acitrezza is limited, and visitors are advised to hire a car before departure.
Getting around. A car is recommended for exploring the surrounding towns and villages.
Driving directions. From Catania Fontanarossa Airport. Take highway A18 toward Messina
