A white, modern building on the banks of the Canal de la Marne, the Quality Hotel Reims Cathedrale is, as its name suggests, just 500 metres Reims' famous cathedral and the center of the town. Simple, modern furniture complements soft furnishings in warm colours in the air conditioned guestrooms, all of which have satellite televisions, minibars, toiletries and Internet connection points.
Guests can start the day with coffee and croissants form the breakfast buffet and relax later on with a coffee or something stronger while browsing the weekday papers in the lounge bar. Crisp table linen and soft up lighting give the Le Millesime restaurant an air of formality; modern French and international dishes are served at lunch and dinner and accompanied by a comprehensive wine list featuring a choice of local Champagnes. The front desk is open round the clock and has a safe deposit box for valuables; those arriving by car can make use of the onsite garage and business guests will appreciate fax, Internet and photocopying facilities. The St Remy Basilica and a number of famous Champagne cellars lie within three kilometres. The nearest airports are Charles de Gaulle and Orly in Paris, both approximately 150 kilometres and a 120 minute drive from central Reims. Numerous trains and buses run between the airport and central Paris, where there are train links to Reims.
